Dior attracts A-list to Paris Fashion Week
Day three of Paris Fashion Week, and the A-list well and truly arrived.
Attracting one of the starriest line-ups of the season, the Dior spring/summer ’09 front row was a veritable who’s-who of the style scene.
A regular on the fashion week circuit this season, Harry Potter actress Emma Watson fought through hordes of waiting fans to take her front row seat, alongside another fashion week regular, singer Katy Perry.
A fitting neighbour for Perry was burlesque star Dita Von Teese, who like the singer favours retro vintage-inspired styles. Both women wore white with soft pastel prints, with Katy donning a sweet prom dress and Dita in a neat skirt suit, and silver heels.
The skirt suit was a popular choice amongst attendees, although actress Eva Green took a wholly more business approach to her look, in a grey two-piece, teamed with patent ankle boots.
After skipping London Fashion Week, Lily Allen took in her first show of the season, and looked demure in a hound’s-tooth check dress, and bouffant hair.
Actress and rising style star Zoe Saldana added to the glamorous line-up, elegant in a navy print shirt dress belted at the waist.
Taking the fashion-forward option, Oscar winner Marion Cotillard sported a sculptutal dove grey dress, teamed with studded white Mary-Janes and a silver clutch.
Prize for most outlandish look has to go to Roisin Murphy though. The Brit singer road-tested a Gareth Pugh design for the show, which after struggling to sit in, she admitted to WWD was, ‘not very comfortable.’
