  • Dior, Gaultier, Lagerfeld and more led a style-packed weekend at Paris Fashion Week

Paris might be the final spot on the Fashion Week schedule, but there’s no chance of proceeding slowing down for the world’s stylistas.

The weekend saw an array of must-have tickets – from Dior, to Gaultier, Lagerfeld and Lanvin – showing their spring/summer 2010 collections.

Talking point: The fashion world was far from impressed by Lindsay Lohan’s debut as Emanuel Ungaro’s creative director. Better stick to the day job, Ms Lohan.

Star spot of the weekend: Fresh from her stay in London with new beau Russell Brand, Katy Perry took a front row pew at Karl Lagerfeld, alongside A-list BFF, Rihanna.

I spy a trend: Underwear as outerwear is continuing to crop up across the catwalks – spotted at both Christian Dior and Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris.

    Hair-raising moment:
Vivienne Westwood’s models showed off the most vertiginous locks we’ve spotted this season. Coiffed into gravity-defying bird’s nest ‘dos, they were peppered with bright streaks and feathers. Now wonder they all looked a tad white-faced!

    Dress of the day
: Alber Elbaz does it again! Perfect cocktail dresses were in abundance on the Lanvin spring/summer 2010 catwalk.

Wow factor award: MC’s editors were utterly seduced by Viktor & Rolf’s typically eclectic collection.
