  • Serena Williams has been busy off court this year and is backing a brand new tennis tee campaign

Wimbledon is upon us, and Serena Williams will be fighting hard out on court. But the superstar tennis ace has revealed she’s also been busy off the court this year, and is backing a brand new Nike and (RED) campaign.

The star is set to launch a limited edition tennis tee, bearing the logo Save More Than Just Break Points.

The lovely people at Nike will contribute 100 per cent of profits from the sale of their tees during the famous tennis tournament.

And they’ve enlisted sporty Serena to help deliver the message.

‘Following events in my own life, the tragedy of children growing up without their parents is close to my heart,‘ she revealed.

‘My time spent in Africa reinforced this desire to help activate change for children who are on their own. By supporting (RED) we can educate children about the dangers of HIV/AIDS so that they can prevent its future spread.’

Visit Nike/RED for more information, or to get your hands on the super snazzy tee.
