New York Fashion Week has finally kicked off, and a star-studded array of A-listers turned out to support the launch of the bi-annual fashion fest.

The highlights: Gwen Stefani proved she’s the most stylish designer on the block, as she took to the catwalk to conclude her spring/summer 2010 L.A.M.B. collection, while the fash-pack descended on NYC for Fashion’s Night Out parties across the capital.

Today’s must-see show: BCBG Max Azria wowed critics and celeb fans – who packed the front row – with a collection including 80s inspired body-con dresses.

Dress of the Day: Maxidresses are still big news for next season, if this gorgeous, girly, floor-grazing gown by BCBG Max Azria is anything to go by.

Star spots: Solange Knowles and teen queen Amanda Bynes in the front row of BCBG, while Kate Hudson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Sienna Miller and Rihanna partied all over the Big Apple for Fashion’s Night Out.
