  • How Gwyneth stays slim eating exactly what she wants

Super-slim Gwyneth Paltrow has revealed to Oprah Winfrey that, unlike many of her Hollywood contemporaries, she finds it impossible to stick to a diet.

Paltrow tells the queen of daytime TV in an episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show to be aired in the US today: ‘I just cannot diet. I think maybe it’s the idea that you can’t have something … I just can’t do it.’

So if the stunning 35-year-old actress and mum-of-two finds it tricky to turn down her favourite sinful foods, just how does she maintain that killer body?

There’s no magic, reports People, it’s all down to good old-fashioned exercise: ‘It’s worth it to me to do that extra exercise so I can eat what I want and not think about it,’ says Paltrow.

Sounds easy enough, but even she admits that she had trouble losing ‘those 20 extra pounds’ after giving birth to her second child, son Moses, now 2.

The foodie-theme of the interview continued as Paltrow appeared on the show with close friend, chef Mario Batali, with whom she recently undertook a culinary tour of one of her favourite countries, Spain, for the upcoming TV series, Spain … On The Road Again. Batali told People: ‘The Gwyneth you see in Spain is the real Gwyneth – funny and likes her food.’ Sounds like our type of woman.
