  • Christian Louboutin to open London flagship store

Next month, Christian Louboutin will bring his luxurious red soled shoes to London’s Mayfair, with the arrival of a new European flagship store.

The shop on W1’s Mount Street has been developed with the help of New York architect Eric Clough, to become the new destination store of choice for shoe lovers.

The three-room layout will house not only the designer’s heels, but also the burgeoning handbag collection, which will sit in brightly coloured tin frames dotted throughout the shop.

Mr. Louboutin said of his new address, ‘In such a pretty street, I want to have my prettiest shoes.’

The signature red soled high heel courts have become the glamorous footwear of choice for the A-list, with fans including Victoria Beckham, Sarah Jessica Parker and Katie Holmes.
