Will Posh take the hot seat next to Simon Cowell for American Idol?
Victoria Beckham could be set to continue her world domination with news that the fashionista will replace Paula Abdul on the judging panel of American Idol.
Reports have surfaced Stateside that Posh will join Simon Cowell on the hit reality show for two guest appearance slots, for a cool £155,000.
Yesterday Abdul announced she was stepping down from the programme after weeks of speculation that her future as a judge was in doubt.
The 47-year-old wrote on her Twitter page: ‘With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to Idol. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day one become an international phenomenon.’
Abdul was due to report for Idol duties, but quit two days earlier, and no reason has been given for her departure.
Meanwhile, Vicky B’s guest slot has prompted rumours that the 35-year-old could take up a permanent spot on the hugely successful series.
Not that Posh needs the money; this week the ex-Spice girl has allegedly spent time viewing potential London pads in Chelsea for the Beckham clan. Her favourite? A three-story townhouse with a basement swimming pool – on the market for a cool £10 million.
