Victoria Beckham wants more kids - just not yet
Victoria Beckham has revealed she does want another baby – just not yet.
The singer-turned-fashion-designer is so working on her career in couture, she couldn’t fit in another baby right now.
In an interview with The Sun, she said: ‘I’m not even trying to get pregnant at the moment.
‘I don’t want another baby for two years because I’m working so hard on my fashion business. I haven’t got time.’
Posh has just returned to LA, after a successful stint at New York Fashion Week, where she showcased her new line of upmarket dresses, which received a thumbs-up from the style set.
But Victoria says she still gets quality time with David.
‘David and I still go out on our own and we have a real laugh together,’ she reveals. ‘I love him more now than I did when we first met.
‘I know people sometimes don’t want to believe that we are happy but we are. And, come on, I couldn’t put on an act. I’m not that good an actress. Have you seen Spiceworld?
‘My mum and dad have been married for 40 years and they still sit down together and watch TV holding hands. They are my role models.
‘As much as they did everything for me and my brother and sister, they still found time to do things as a couple, and even now they go out with their friends. They’ve just gone off to Vegas with them for the weekend.’
Although the Beckhams enjoyed one of the biggest weddings in celebrity history, Victoria says she never dreamed of the big white wedding.
‘We were young when we met. Before I met him I’d never thought about getting married.
‘I wasn’t one of those girls who dreamed about a fairytale wedding and meeting a prince. That was until I met David. Before we got married we never spoke about how many kids we were going to have or where we wanted to live because we were so young.
‘But what is so great is that we wanted the same things and it just fell into place.’
And Victoria maintains there’s no truth in the rumour that they only stay together to protect Brand Beckham.
‘We’re just both really content with what we’re doing,’ she says.
‘We support each other as well. It’s nice to have a successful business but there’s more to life than just that. I couldn’t be with someone I didn’t want to be with.
‘I can’t remember what the last row we had was about. I think the older you get, you tend not to row as much.’
She added: ‘I’m not going to lie and say we don’t row because obviously we do — but we don’t that much.
‘David’s very stubborn. I’m a lot easier to live with when I’m content and I’m working — when I’m busy, like now.’
The couple are this week set to launch their his-and-hers fragrance – worth £109 million globally – in America.
Not bad for a girl from Goffs Oak in Hertfordshire.
