"Well put together". This is how Marie Claire’s fashion director Jayne Pickering describes my style and I take it as a compliment. I’m quite classic, very neat with chic little touches and great accessories.

I’ve worked at Marie Claire for 15 years now and I’ve been lucky enough in my career to have seen and handled some of the most exquisite clothes from the world’s top designers. I’m passionate about helping people put their wardrobes together, combining investment buys with key pieces from the high street – especially in the UK, where we have incredible access to the most wonderful designs.

I’ve been a part of the team for almost two years and I love the challenge that each day brings. From assisting on shoots in LA to meeting PRs and researching cutting-edge brands, no two days are the same. One of my favourite parts of the job is seeing all the upcoming trends for the new season and how each label – from designer to high street – interprets them.

I update our online fashion content each day, delivering everything from the biggest catwalk trends and designer must-haves, to the Duchess of Sussex’s style secrets and hottest influencer looks. I grew up in France, but fell in love with London’s eclectic style after I moved to the UK 10 years ago. Luckily, my job often takes me back to Paris, so I can still gorge on cheese pretty regularly!

My job is fast-paced, so I’m always up against a deadline and looking for the next big thing – whether that’s a trend, a brand or an influencer. Every day is different; I could be styling shoots on the streets of Miami, writing an online story on why leopard print is the new neutral, or flying over to Tokyo for a store opening. I’m always meeting amazing people – working with inspiring, creative individuals never gets boring.

My role means keeping my radar tuned for all forms of fashion newness and turning them into copy and content – whether it’s interviewing big-name designers, scouting out new brands and putting together seasonal trend reports, or giving our followers the inside scoop live from the shows over on our Instagram Stories.
