  • Ugly Betty stars get on stage for charity

A host of A-listers, including Ugly Betty girls Vanessa Williams, Becki Newton and Ana Ortiz, hit the red carpet – and the stage – last night for a charity event to raise funds for the Alzheimers Association.

The 16th Annual A Night at Sardi’s Fundraiser, which took place in Beverly Hills, saw the the Ugly Betty stars take to the stage and perform numbers from Bye Bye Birdie, directed by Pretty Woman star Jason Alexander.

Vanessa Williams belted out a commendable performance – and was rewarded for efforts with a sloppy snog from Jason.

David E. Kelley’s Boston Legal picked up the Abe Burrows Entertainment Award for its portrayal of Alzheimers, while Kelley’s wife, Michelle Pfeiffer, looked sickeningly stunning, for a slightly older lady, with barely-there make-up.
