  • Jade tells her children 'angels are calling mummy' as her family gather for her last moments

Jade Goody’s family gathered around her this weekend as she was given just hours to live.

Although Jade herself was asleep for most of Sunday, her two little boys, Bobby and Freddie, apparently brought her flowers in what was meant to be an early Mother’s Day.

After waking for a few moments and gathering energy for just a few words, she fell back asleep and the boys went to play with Jade’s new husband, Jack, in the garden.

Her mother, Jackiey, who was also present said her daughter was clinging to life ‘hour by hour’.

‘The boys went to see her and she was aware of them for a brief moment or two. She saw them and she smiled,’ Max Clifford told reporters.

‘She has put her house in order and faced up to everything in an incredibly brave way. Now we’re waiting for the inevitable. It could be at any time, we just don’t know.’

A priest also visited Jade over the weekend to say prayers for her.

Having discharged herself from hospital last week so she could spend her last days at home, Jade apparently told her sons: ‘Mummy’s going to heaven soon. I’m going to be a star up in the sky, so when you are looking up you will be able to see me and know I’m there, always looking over you.
