Will Peter Andre return Down Under for I'm A Celebrity comeback?
As if Peter Andre needed more publicity, the news just in reports the Aussie singer could be returning to the jungle for a second round of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Andre is said to be in talks with TV bosses for the hit reality show and should he take up the offer, viewers will see the 36-year-old return Down Under five years after his romance with Katie Price blossomed on the ITV series.
Industry whispers suggest Andre plans to return to Bush living to try and mend his broken heart, following the tumultuous split with estranged wife Price.
However, according to the Daily Mail, psychologists have suggested the return could do more harm than good, evoking painful memories for the singer.
Speaking to the Daily Star, psychologist Jo Hemmings commented: ‘Peter obviously has a yearning to go back where his happiness begain. He is eager to take a journey back to the beginning, as he feels this will cast out the final demons of his volatile and troubled marriage.’
She continued: ‘But it could be a serious error of judgment. He will encounter so many reminders of falling in love with Kate that it will dredge up all sorts of unwelcome memories that could find him slipping back into emotional fragility,’
One insider snitched to the newspaper: ‘It’s all up in the air at the moment. But it’s very exciting.
‘It’s going to be a ratings winner. The public loves Peter and they’d love nothing more than to see him back in the jungle. He might even find a new love.’
