Cate Blanchett gives birth to another son
Cate Blanchett has given birth for the third time and has welcomed another son to the family.
Ignatius Martin was born yesterday at a hospital in Sydney, according to Australian magazine, Who.
The Elizabeth: The Golden Age star’s new son weighed in at 3.6kg, or just under eight pounds, according to sources.
Cate and her husband, writer/director Andrew Upton, already have two sons, Dashiell John, 5, and Roman Robert, 3.
The star, who won a Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in The Aviator, is currently co-director of The Sydney Theatre Company – a career move she made in the interests of being more settled for her children. However, she’s not giving up acting up and is set to star alongside Harrison Ford in the upcoming fourth installment in the Indiana Jones series.
