  • Doctors tell Amy Winehouse: ‘Quit drugs or die’

Amy Winehouse has reportedly been warned by doctors she must quit drugs now, or face the possibly fatal consequences.

The singer was still in hospital last night after collapsing on Monday.

And doctors have warned things will only get worse if she carries on partying so hard.

A source told the Sun: ‘She might have escaped this time, but eventually she won’t get up again.

‘The only thing to stop that happening is if she quits drugs.’

It has been suggested the faint could be linked to the overdose she suffered last summer. Brain tests at the time revealed problems linked to drugs, and the singer was reportedly told she would keep having seizures unless she stopped taking drugs.

The source added: ‘After this, it looks like they were right.’

Yesterday, her dad Mitch, who took her from her London home to the hospital on Monday, said: ‘She’s doing fine.’

Amy is expected to perform at Glastonbury and Nelson Mandela’s 90th birthday celebration this month.
