  • Anne Hathaway, Kate Hudson, Demi and more join star-studded bash

We all know the stars love a bit of bling, so it was no surprise that the A-list was out in force last night, to celebrate the 100th birthday of Cartier.

Leaving beau Ashton at home, Demi Moore arrived on the arm of Kate Hudson, both clad in scene-stealing black gowns, and naturally, some serious jewels.

For Demi this meant working this season’s asymmetric trend, in a monochrome belted dress, while Kate flaunted her killer abs, in a cutaway black gown.

Anne Hathaway was another starlet daring to bare, in a thigh-skimming midnight blue minidress. Cute dress, but we weren’t convinced by the sheer black opaques.

Monochrome hues proved the evening’s top trend, and when the shades weren’t dark, then attendees were opting for light neutrals.

Rachel Weisz wowed in a cream strapless number, with pleated stripe detailing, while Eva Mendes was resplendent  in her soft gold gown

Following that very public PDA last month, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel appear to have ditched their reclusive reputation, and are stepping out all over the town. Last night they arrived together, and though eschewed posing on the red carpet as a pair, were clearly coupled up.

She may have had her beau in town, but that did nothing to save Jessica’s drab style. Her khaki maxi may not have come in the most inspiring hue, but keeping it covered with a little leather jacket was what really offends in the sartorial stakes. A little more glam next time please Jen.
