  • 18-year-old gap-year student becomes the new face of Topshop

An 18 year old on her gap year has been picked to be the new face of Topshop. Chloe Hayward from Kingston upon Thames, was first spotted whilst shopping for shoes in Topshop two years ago. Now she will star on billboards and magazine pages for the same high-street haven, for which she will earn a suspected six-figure salary.

The model was discovered by Sarah Leon, head of new faces at Select Model Management. Sarah is known for spotting the next big thing, and signed Daisy Lowe, Stella Tennant and model-of-the-moment Agyness Deyn in the past.

Hayward has recently completed her A-Levels and plans to attend Birmingham University in September 2008, to study English and Drama.
