    Rumours of a reunion have been rife for weeks, but the latest word on the grapevine is that the Spice Girls aren’t set for another string of concerts, they’re producing a musical!

    After meeting up at Nobu last month, the ladies are reportedly starting work on the production, which Geri will produce, and the other Spices will help pick the actresses for.

    Casting agents are reportedly now on the hunt to find five unknown actresses to play Posh and co in the pop-fest, which will focus on the band’s ascent to fame.

    A source revealed to The Mirror: ‘The project is Geri’s baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast.’

    The Spice Girls formed in 1994, after answering an ad in The Stage that read: ‘R. U. 18-23 with the ability to sing/dance? R.U. streetwise, outgoing, ambitious, and dedicated?’

    Geri left the band in 1998, but returned for the 2007 comeback, that resulted in a world tour.
