Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony sued $2.5 million over dog bite
Jennifer Lopez is being sued for $2.5 million after a flight attendant claims she was bitten by the singer’s pet dog.
Lisa Wilson has launched a personal injury suit against the couple after claiming their German shepherd bit her on a private jet in 2006. She claims the alleged attack caused her to fall and has since been unable to work.
According to the Daily Mail, it was only Jennifer who was originally named on the papers, but, after lawyers for her said Marc Anthony was the registered owner of the dog called Floyd, he has now also been named as a defendant.
Marc and Floyd had reportedly joined Lopez on a Gulfstream IV flight from Republic Airport in Farmingdale, Long Island, to California last July.
The former flight attendant wants $5 million in damages from the couple, after alleging that an hour into the flight Floyd lunged at her ‘attacking her and biting her trouser leg’.
Cafaro says that Lopez and Anthony should have put a muzzle or leash on the dog.
Jennifer Lopez’s lawyer, Marina Spinner, has not been reached for comment.
