Breaking Dawn details! How they'll split the book in two, plus Bill Condon is frontrunner to direct
There’s been a long list of prestigious directors linked to Twilight Breaking Dawn – from Sofia Coppola, to Gus Van Sant and Stephen Daldry – but film execs have reportedly finally found their man, Dreamgirls director Bill Condon.
Condon is allegedly now the studios’ first choice to take the helm on the final chapter of the Twilight films, Entertainment Weekly reports.
There are also further hints that Breaking Dawn, which is a mammoth 756 pages long, will be split into two films.
As for how the book will be split – stop reading now if you’re yet to finish the saga!
The first film will reportedly focus on the marriage between Edward and Bella, their honeymoon and her subsequent pregnancy. A second would track her journey from human to vampire, and focus on Jacob and his relationship with Renesmee Cullen.
Breaking Dawn is rumoured to start filming at the end of the year, but Twilight fans will have the release of Eclipse this June to get excited about first.
