Charlotte Church to marry Gavin Henson this summer
She’s got the baby (well, actually, two), and the ring – now Charlotte Church wants a summer wedding, too.
The Welsh warbler and her rugby ace boyfriend are reportedly planning to walk down the aisle this summer, because Gavin promised they would tie the knot after their son was born.
Charlotte, 22, gave birth to Dexter Lloyd at their home in the Vale of Glamorgan on Sunday.
The star couple already have daughter 15-month-old Ruby – so now Gavin is going to live up to his word.
A source told the Daily Mail: ‘Gavin had promised her they’d get married after the new baby was born. So far, the couple have avoided the issue of marriage because it will involve such a big wedding and so much organisation and they’ve always been too busy to get it together.
‘They’d love to have one ceremony in Wales with the family and one in an exotic location.
‘Now that their son has arrived, they are under even more pressure from their families so they’d like to tie the knot this summer.
‘Once Charlotte is back to feeling slim and happy with her looks she’ll want to be a bride, and Gavin is ready for it. ‘
The source added: ‘Until now, they’ve both felt that having children together has meant a lot more than a wedding in terms of commitment.
‘They feel they have the perfect family, a girl and boy, and now they want to make it even more perfect by marrying.’
And Charlotte won’t struggle to pay for a lavish affair – the singer has reportedly signed a £700,000 deal with OK! magazine for exclusive pics of little Dexter.
