The stars came out for London Fashion Week
Day two of London Fashion Week, and the big tickets of the week also drew the big stars.
As a favourite of London’s party girls, they were all out in force for the Luella show, which took place in Hyde Park’s stunning Crystal Palace. Alexa Chung perched on the front row, beside Jaime Winstone, while actress Emilia Fox revealed to marie claire tv that the show was her first ever fashion week outing.
Back in London, and after six seasons of showing in New York, Alice Temperley invited along a host of A-list friends to see her spring/summer ’09 return to the London catwalk. Mischa Barton was the perfect Temperley poster girl, in one of the designer’s gold fringed frocks, alongside former Bond girl Rosamund Pike, who stood out from the crowd in a hot pink mini dress.
Onto Julien Macdonald, and as Wales’s most famous fashion export, the designer was supported by fellow countrymen Dame Shirley Bassey and Katherine Jenkins. Model Natalia Vodianova wowed in one of the designer’s LBDs, and friends Erin O’Connor and Joely Richardson gossiped from the front row.
Things didn’t slow down as the day progressed, and high-street fashion haven Jaeger proved one of the biggest draws of the day, with Jagger sisters Lizzie and Georgia among the glamorous attendees.
It was the parties though that attracted the biggest A-list crowd. Gwyneth Paltrow, Claudia Schiffer, Jemima Khan and Naomi Campbell all hit the town for various fashion soirees.
