  • Forbes' 30 under 30 Art and Style list revealed

They are that rare breed of celebrity – former child stars who have forged successful careers in adulthood. And fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen have cemented their status as key players in the industry by making Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Art and Style list.
The annual list celebrates talented trendsetters working in the arts and fashion worlds. The 26-year-old Olsens have multiple fashion ventures, including their ‘Elizabeth and James’ and ‘The Row’ clothing lines.
Balenciaga’s new creative director, 29-year-old Alexander Wang, also featured on the list. The impossibly cool young designer is the first person with Asian roots to run a Parisian fashion house; a job which he will balance with maintaining his eponymous New York label.
Other notable mentions were 24-year-old Leadra Medjne, author of the phenomenally successful ‘The Man Repeller’ blog, as well as 21-year-old Michael Avedon, the grandson of renowned fashion photographer Richard Avedon, who has shot the likes of Grace Coddington and Clemente Francesco for portraits.
