Bespoke Blouses to hit the high street

  • Marie Claire is supported by its audience. When you purchase through links on our site, we may earn commission on some of the items you choose to buy.
  • New York label Hunter Dixon has introduced the Blouse Programme, so now you can design your own.

Pussy bow, printed silk or puff sleeved, the blouse has always been one of our favourite pretty pieces. Now it’s set to be a spring must-have, thanks to a resurrection of the 1970s trend at shows all over the catwalk.

Yes, it’s time to get creative, channel your inner Roksanda, and design you very own bespoke blouse, for work, play or everything in between.

Whether your look is prim, sleek or has a vintage vibe, there’s an eye watering array of colours and prints to choose from, including black, peppermint green and fabulous neon pink.

The idea came from the clever people at Hunter Dixon, the New York label started by Hunter Bell and Jennifer Dixon almost three years ago.

With a host of fashion fans in the US – including Lindsay Lohan, Marisa Miller and Lake Bell – it’s only a matter of time before their quirky designs are spotted on all our favourite Brit beauties.

Available online, blouses start from £185.
