There was a British invasion at the Armani Milan menswear show this weekend, with David Beckham taking his place alongside rugby star Danny Cipriani and girlfriend Kelly Brook on the style-packed front row.

The trio attended the Emporio Armani Fall/Winter 2009/2010 menwear show, which took place on Sunday afternoon.

A long-term friend of Armani’s, and the star of his traffic-stopping underwear campaign, Beckham took time from his busy schedule to attend the show, where he told WWD, ‘It’s rare I have time to make a show so I enjoyed it.’

The football ace is currently residing in the Italian city, while on loan to AC Milan, and added, ‘The club, players and fans have been amazing to me so far and have made me very welcome.’

As for his front row neighbours, and Brook exhibited her signature ladylike chic, in a cream satin jacket, and fitted pencil skirt. Her beau was dapper in a grey jacket and dark jeans.
