Following the huge success of Angels’ first public sale in 2008, the Oscar-winning costume supplier is opening its doors once again, this time to sell over 250,000 high-quality items of authentic uniform and equipment dating from 1900 onwards.
The military trend can be spotted from the catwalk to the high street. Bowing to military mania, Angels has got the genuine article: the sale consists of pieces from film and television, with garments of such a high standard that they suitable for collectors and fashionistas alike.
What really sets this apart, however, is the price of the offerings: £10 each for caps, and £20 for all coats or blouson jackets – an absolute steal compared to the military offerings from Loewe and Balmain!
Angels is the world’s longest-established supplier of costumes to the film, theatre, and television industries.
The Angels Uniform Sale will take place at 3 Boundary Road, Wembley, HA9 7ND on Saturday 28th November 2009 (8.30am-5pm), featuring authentic uniforms, helmets, headgear, leather and webbing equipment from a range of famous war films including Saving Private Ryan and The Great Escape.
