Have a very ‘Jerry Christmas’
The selection of a festive jumper is an important part of the run up to Christmas and a decision that should never be taken lightly – you are most likely going to be living in it for the next three months.
Some people opt for the classy understated festive look, while others go all out fluro kitsch – complete with pompoms and bells. This year it seems that there’s a new emerging theme for festive knitwear – the political Christmas jumper.
With the past year getting a lot of millennials involved in politics, it’s hardly surprising that someone thought to combine the momentum with our favourite holiday.
Introducing – the Jeremy Corbyn Christmas jumper.
The unisex ‘Jerry Christmas’ jumper is a UK creation by NotJust, coming in all sizes and costing you just £35.
While the limited edition creation may seem like a curve ball, it works pretty perfectly, with the Labour leader’s silver beard aesthetic fitting with the Christmas theme and re-inventing him as a modern day Santa.
This could be the perfect look to sport on Save The Children’s annual Christmas Jumper Day, falling this year on 15th December.
There’s no news as of yet whether a Theresa May jumper is in the works but there are said to be more political-festive creations on the way so we’ll have to wait and see.
For now you’ll just have to have a very ‘Jerry Christmas’.
