  • The man from Down Under selling his entire life via eBay

A 44-year-old Brit who emigrated to Australia six years ago is putting his entire life up for sale on eBay.

Ian Usher is offering one lucky individual his house, his clothes, his job and even his friends.

‘My whole life is for sale. Whatever it is, it’s all going up for sale in one big auction,’ he reveals. ‘Everything I have and everything I am.’

So why the drastic action? A failed marriage and a broken heart.

On his website, Ian is offering interested parties the full story about his love life, but is asking them to pay £1 for the privilege of reading it, leading many to assume the whole exercise is designed to make him rich, and famous.

Friends though, are already leaping to his defence.

‘He hates any sort of conventional existence. He can’t hack it. He keeps on doing weird things,’ pal Simon de Burton tells the Daily Mail.

‘He has always been like that. He’s an incredible man and his life is pretty amazing.’

Ian himself adds: ‘I am still not sure whether this is inspired madness, complete foolishness, or just some sort of mid-life crisis.

‘I appreciate that many people have had to cope with much more than I have and have had much more sadness in their lives. This is just my way of dealing with what has happened to me.’
