  • My-Wardrobe announces winner of new design competition

My-Wardrobe last night celebrated the final of its Design Incubator competition, and announced Kevin Geddes from Coventry as its style star.

As the culmination of the online boutique’s search for new British design talent, three finalists last night presented a six piece capsule collection in a catwalk show at Belgravia’s Il Bottaccio.

The winner was then chosen by an esteemed panel of judges which included Louise Redknapp, The Daily Telegraph Fashion Director, Hilary Alexander, design duo, Gharani Strok and founder, Sarah Curran.

As the first ever winner of the competition Kevin Geddes will see his denim-based collection produced and sold on from May 2008.

Sarah Curran commented last night, ‘Kevin Geddes’s denim-based collection is a great fit for and is perfectly on-trend for Spring Summer 2008 and we look forward to supporting Kevin in his first year as a bona fide fashion designer.’
