This old school trend is all over our Instagram feed RN

And we want IN

It all started with the burnt orange Mango trousers. They were all over my Instagram feed, and all of a sudden, literally everyone was wearing corduroys. Yes cords, as in the fabric you thought you could only wear if you thought maths in high school. If there ever was a time to rethink your view on them, this is it – turns out they’ve never been more covetable.

Mango’s high rise wide leg trousers were the surprise street style hit of the new season, and influencers went all out, teaming it with its matching blazer, teamed with brogues or boots for that extra preppy feel.

They’re still available to buy, but I reckon they will sell out fast, so if you want in on it, you better act now.

Since then, cords, in many guises, have made daily appearances on my social feeds. There have been pink cord suits (hi Caroline Issa in Desert Mannequin), corduroy hats (as seen on Caro Daur), skirts, blazers (hi Freddie Harrel) and corduroy dresses.

When even your coffee cup matches your outfit, you know you have a 👛👚🐷🌸💒🎀 problem #ThinkPink

[Moaning + HIRING] I don’t currently look as regal (👋🏾 if you’re about that satin scarf life too) but my fists are as clenched 😅 @tedxbrighton is tomorrow and I haven’t quite got my speech (apparently you can learn a speech in 60mns thanks to the #MindPalace technique 😎 so we’ll wing it and just do that 😜) because of all the symptoms we discussed last week (seeing someone this morning 🎉 will update you) but in other news I’m super excited to share a new role (link in the bio) I’m looking for an Private PA, a potential partner in crime I can rule the world with 😈🎉 (all the details are in the job spec, I won’t answer questions in DMs or comments) please share if you know someone! Can’t wait to find my special one 🎉💃🏾 Have a lovely day everyone, weekend starts soon 🙏🏾🙏🏾
