If you're a fan of Queen Elizabeth's style, you'll know that Launer is her go-to handbag brand - in fact she is rumoured to have 200 of them.

Although she owns the bags in several colours, her preferred style is a structured black patent with handles, which goes with pretty much all of her colourful outfits.

But while you might think the heritage British brand is better suited to customers around the Queen's age range, think again, because it's going millennial on us.

You see Launer has just introduced an online interactive service that lets you customise its core five styles as well as card-holders in colours ranging from neutral black and beige to bright colours worthy of Instagram.

When you go on their site, you'll get a 3D image of your preferred style and a huge selection of colours and leathers, and then you can mix and match to your heart's content: body, gusset, handle, and flap can all be individually altered.

We don't know about you, but we love the idea of a bright green and pink bag, the Queen loves a bright ensemble after all.

Each handbag is handmade, so once you've picked your favourite, you'll receive it in 21 days.

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
