This is why Adele is raising her son to be a feminist

Erm, could we love her any more than we already do?

Adele doesn’t need to give us any more reasons to love her. Not only can she get away with swearing a whopping 33 times on live TV (her Glastonbury performance last year, anyone?), but she recently snapped her Grammy in two to share with Beyonce. She became, quite literally, the real life Cady Heron.

Although the singer usually steers away from talking about her private life, it came to the fore after the award ceremony last week thanks to a slip of the tongue where she called Simon Konecki her husband, sparking speculation that the pair are already married.

Whether or not the pair did marry in a very secret ceremony is yet to be confirmed by either party, but Adele has uncharacteristically decided to talk about her four year old son, Angelo.

Not only did she open up about how she feels as a mother, she also revealed that she is raising her little boy to be a feminist.

Talking to OK! Magazine, she said: ‘I’m raising him to respect women.

‘He knows I’m a powerful force – he feels it at home, let alone when he comes to work with me.

‘And he comes everywhere with me anyway!’

So. Much. Yes.

Adele previously spoke about the desire to expand her family, telling fans during a gig last year: ‘I’ll see you later, I’ll see you on the other side.

‘In a couple of years when I’ll be back, you won’t be able to get rid of me.

‘I’m going to go and have another baby!’

For now, though, the singer has landed in Sydney for the Australian leg of her tour.

Is she still making an outrageous amount of money while touring? Probably. But we don’t need to think about that when payday is still a week away.
