Elizabeth Hurley to light up London tonight
Elizabeth Hurley will be making a very special trip to London today, which will see her light up the Tower of London in shimmering pink lights.
In her role as Breast Cancer Awareness Ambassador, Ms Hurley is in the capital today to raise awareness, with her first stop being a personal appearance at Oxford Street department store Selfridges.
Between 1pm and 2pm, she will meet customers in the store’s beauty hall, where she will be signing purchases from the stunning Estée Lauder Pink Ribbon Collection, which raises funds for Breast Cancer Awareness. The fundraising month was founded by Estée Lauder 15 years ago.
Then onto the evening, and London will be lit up pink, as Hurley lights up the Tower of London with rosy hued lights.
The event is part of Estée Lauder’s 2008 Global Lighting Initiative for Breast Cancer Awareness. Over a hundred monuments have been lit pink around the world to help spread the Breast Cancer Awareness message, including the Sydney Opera House and Niagara Falls.
