Scarlett Johansson sparks new Dolce & Gabbana make-up range frenzy
Beauty fans eager to get their hands on the new Dolce & Gabbana make-up range have been forced to join a waiting list for the coveted items.
The new range goes on sale in the UK on April 19, but demand for the designer cosmetics is so high that fans have to sign a waiting list for a chance to buy.
The new D&G make-up is being sold exclusively at Selfridges and fans from across the country have put their names down to secure the products.
‘Beauty wait-lists are not as common as fashion, but when one of the world’s largest fashion houses launches a make-up range there is bound to be a frenzy,’ says David Walker Smith, Selfridges’ beauty director.
‘We expect this collection to create real waves in the beauty world – Hollywood glamour created by designer royalty.’
The coveted cosmetics are all packaged in pure gold and housed in gold pouches.
The first collection colour palette will be inspired by Mediterranean coasts and the glamour of Hollywood. All the lipsticks will be rose scented.
Scarlett Johansson is the face of the new D&G make-up – the very first collection for the fashion house.
The glamorous actress was picked to front the campaign because ‘she’s a beautiful girl, but she’s really easygoing. She is very Dolce & Gabbana,’ said Stefano Gabbana.
