David And Victoria Beckham Steal The Spotlight At School Sports Day In London

David and Victoria Beckham are used to being the centre of attention at celebrity parties and red carpet events, but we doubt they realised they'd cause such a stir at Cruz's school sports day.

David Beckham took part in the dads' race at the school event, and naturally managed to beat the other children's parents, coming first and winning his very own gold medal.

The former footballer and dad-of-four was watched and cheered on by excited families, which included Stella McCartney and her clan. He competed in jeans, a navy blue jumper and wore a cute red baseball cap backwards as he sailed across the 100m finish line.

In pictures obtained by The Sun today, David and Victoria can also be seen watching their son Cruz compete, standing proudly at the sidelines with their daughter Harper. Victoria wore jeans, a white vest, a leather jacket and dark aviator sunglasses, while her hair was tied back in a loose ponytail. David stood proudly wearing his medal and balancing Harper on his hip, who looked adorable in black and white striped leggings and a red cardigan.

One parent at the event told the paper: 'They were like just any other mum and dad. But Becks easily won the race. He beat the other dads by miles. He sprinted to the end in no time at all and left the other less fit dads way behind.'

Amazing.

But Victoria might want to stick to designing clothes and singing – as she was a little less successful in the famous mums' race. Despite giggling and sprinting her way across the track, the 39-year-old was beaten by a fitter, faster Stella McCartney.

It was revealed yesterday that David and Victoria have viewed the late Michael Winner's former £50million home as a possible property to re-home their family in.

Boy, are we glad to have them back in London.
