We challenge you to watch their bromantic performance without cracking a smile.

It's the beginning of a beautiful bromance for Brad Pitt and Bruno Mars. Or at least that's the conclusion we're jumping to after watching this awesome video.

We're not sure if it's Brad's embarrassment, their extreme height difference (sorry, Bruno) or the fact that Bruno can only name three of Brad's films - but we just can't get enough of their onstage encounter.

So how did their 'Sex Machine' jam session come to be? Allow us to explain...

The 50-year-old actor is a longtime supporter of the New Orleans community, and he's spent the past several years helping to fun and build homes for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. On Saturday night, he held a Make It Right fundraising gala and Bruno Mars served as one of the musical guests.

When Bruno, 28, launched into a cover of James Brown's 'Sex Machine,' he called for his handsome host to join him onstage and handed him a tambourine. He then addressed the eager crowd: 'You might have seen him in Fight Club... You might have seen him in Inglourious Basterds... Benjamin Button!' Then after a long pause: 'Benjamin Button!
