  • Freida Pinto and Hilary Swank were amongst the star names at the Salvatore Ferragamo cruise collection unveiling in Paris

Salvatore Ferragamo unveiled its cruise 2013 collection to a crowd of famous faces yesterday, as it made history by becoming the first fashion brand to ever host a catwalk show inside Paris’ revered Louvre museum.

The special setting of the show drew a suitably starry front row, including Hollywood power players Hilary Swank and Freida Pinto, as well as Gossip Girl’s Leighton Meester – all wearing gypsy-inspired pieces from the Italian label’s autumn/winter 2012 collection.

Models Karolina Kurkova and Jessica Hart added a further dose of glamour to proceedings as their on-duty counterparts walked the long catwalk inside the famous museum’s Denon Wing arcade.

French actresses Virginie Ledoyen and Elodie Bouchez were also spotted at the stylish event, rubbing shoulders and sipping champagne with Chinese star Fan Bingbing and fashionista Anna Dello Russo.

But who’s your best dressed of the night – Leighton Meester in her off-the-shoulder look? Freida Pinto’s sheer-sleeved number perhaps? Or how about Hilary Swank in her black and gold design? Tell us in the comments box below…
