Former X Factor judge takes up the Strictly Come Dancing challenge
Former X Factor judge Sharon Osbourne is set to compete in the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.
One year on from quitting as a panel judge on the singing talent show, the 56-year-old has reportedly signed up to dance her socks off on BBC One’s rival show Strictly.
Osbourne sat on the X Factor panel for four years alongside fellow judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Dannii Minogue, but stepped down after falling out with the Aussie star.
The Mirror reports that Osbourne will take home a whopping £100,000 to appear on the dance show and revealed that one BBC source let slip: ‘Sharon is already a huge name in TV and music, so she is perfect for the show.’
‘The fact that she has been on the X Factor means she is sure to have plenty to say when the two shows launch.
‘Sharon verbally agreed the deal several days ago and will sign contracts in the coming weeks. She is so excited she is already telling her friends. Cowell won’t thank her.’
