Katie Price's infidelity insinuation prompts Peter Andre to bring legal action
Peter Andre plans to sue his estranged wife Katie Price after the glamour model insinuated he had been unfaithful during their marriage.
In an interview with GMTV yesterday Price was quizzed by show host Ben Shephard about Andre’s fidelity during their three-and-a-half-year marriage and replied to the probing questions saying: ‘When you split up with someone you hear things.’
On her never-ending promotional trail, the glamour model was on air to push her latest book Sapphire, but matters quickly turned to the warring pair’s messy separation.
Price revealed she hoped any future partners would be ‘faithful’, hinting that 36-year-old Andre had played away.
When pressed to answer if Andre had strayed, Price replied: ‘Anyway, next question’.
She added: ‘Was Pete not faithful?’ Then paused before replying: ‘I don’t know. Was he? I never said anything.’
The Aussie singer has maintained he was totally committed during their relationship, writing in his New! Magazine column: ‘I can hold my head up high and say I’ve been 100% faithful throughout my marriage and still am.’
‘And any reports suggesting otherwise are totally hurtful and false,’ he added.
However, it seems Katie’s latest knife twist is the last straw for Andre, who is adamant he won’t have his name dragged through the mud.
