  • It’s thought that Sarah Ferguson could be in line for her own chat show in the US, after Oprah Winfrey struck up a deal

It’s thought that Sarah Ferguson could be in line for her own chat show in the US, after Oprah Winfrey reportedly struck up a deal with the ex-royal.

The Duchess of York appeared on Oprah’s chat show back in May, after being caught in a cash scandal, offering to sell ‘access’ to Prince Andrew for money.

Now the chat show queen is keen to offer Sarah a slot when she launches her own cable channel next year.

And it’s thought the Duchess will jump at the chance, after being crippled with £2 million of debt.

‘Oprah made the call this week. They spoke in person and, for Sarah, the offer is a ray of light at the end of a very dark tunnel,’ one source revealed to the Mirror.

‘The Duchess went on Oprah’s show to explain herself after her most recent scandal.

‘Oprah has always been impressed by her ability to pick herself up.’
