Vanessa Redgrave says her daughter would have wanted her body to help save others
Natasha Richardson‘s family have donated her organs in the hope her tragic death will not have been in vain.
Natasha’s mother, Vanessa Redgrave, said her talented daughter would have wanted to help save others in any way she could.
After Natasha’s life-support machine was turned off last week, following her skiing accident in Canada, doctors at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York spent hours removing her organs, according to The Sun, so they could be used in transplant operations.
‘Some patient is going to wake up in the recovery room and start reciting Shakespeare,’ a source told the paper.
