  • Julia reveals her love and beauty secrets

It seems like an age since Julia Roberts had her last starring role and cover girl moment, but the big screen beauty is back with a bang this year with two new movies, Duplicity and Fireflies in the Garden, hitting cinemas soon – and she looks better then ever.

The Pretty Woman star graces the cover of the next issue of allure magazine, looking as young as she did when she made that movie, which catapulted her to superstardom.

So, what’s her secret? ‘The key to beauty is always to be looking at someone who loves you, really,’ she gushed.

‘One of my favourite things about my children right now, even [18-month-old] Henry, who can’t say all the words… sometimes he’ll see me and go, “Ma-ma!” and throw himself on me.

‘Or Finn [4] says he likes my earrings. Or Hazel [4] will say, “You look pretty, Mama,” first thing in the morning. And I realize, that’s all my husband [Danny Moder].

‘They’re seeing the things that he does and the way that he shares his feelings with me, and the way that I share my feelings with him.

‘The coolest thing you can do for your children is to love each other in their presence.’

Julia also revealed that the Ocean’s movies practical jokes rumours were all true – and they were all started by pranksters Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

‘I went to my hotel-room door one morning, and there was an overwhelming smell of something clean and fresh; they had shaving-creamed my door.

‘Also, it wouldn’t open because they’d taken two huge potted trees and put them outside, trying to make me late for work.’

    Those crazy kids!

Julia also revealed her ideal dinner guests would be the Obamas.
