Jennifer Lawrence’s former flame, Nicholas Hoult, has praised the Oscar winner

Jennifer Lawrence is the golden girl of just about everything right now, from fashion to films, she’s seriously hot property and not even her ex boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult, can fault the star.

And who can blame him? We’re forming a small Jennifer Lawrence appreciation army ourselves. Despite parting ways fairly recently, Nicholas couldn’t help but speak of his pride over the star’s recent Oscar win, telling E!: ‘I’m very, very happy for her. I’m thrilled.’

This latest remark adds to the former Skins star’s earlier comments saying he was ‘very proud’ that his ex girlfriend was nominated.

Nicholas and Jennifer first met when they starred in X Man: First Class but they called time on their relationship at the start of the year, although there’s still a glimmer of hope that they may rekindled their romance…

Not only does there appear to be zero animosity between the duo, they’re also set to star in the X Man sequel later this year. With all those long days on set together, we secretly hope these two do get back together.
