The latest Twilight flick has raked in millions during it's first weekend, making it the biggest UK opening this year
Twilight Eclipse has smashed UK box office records, raking in a whopping £13 million during its opening weekend.
The Twilight Saga’s eagerly anticipated third instalment garnered the biggest opening weekend of the year so far, as excited Twi-hards flocked to see the flick.
So high was the demand for tickets that some screens opened box offices over a month before the film was released, with many even putting on special midnight screenings of the flick.
Eclipse beat the year’s previous biggest film Alice In Wonderland – by around £3 million, after the 3D flick took £10 million during its opening weekend back in March.
The movie also Eclipses New Moon’s takings, after it raked in £11 million during first showings last year.
