by Rebecca Twomey

Kate Middleton’s hair is one of the most iconic crowns in the country – and award-winning hairdresser, Joseph Koniak can vouch for that as he shared with Marie Claire just how influential the Duchess’ locks are.

KATE MIDDLETON MADE TEA TO LAND FIRST FASHION JOB

Fresh from a stint as the National Wedding Show’s official hair care partner, Joseph revealed many brides wanted to mimic the Duchess of Cambridge’s hairstyle on their big day.

He told us: ‘Kate Middleton is leading the way [for hairstyles] what’s wonderful is that she is sporting a more natural look at the moment, and it’s a trend people can replicate.’

And that they most certainly are, ‘Girls have started growing their hair a lot,’ Joseph adds. ‘They’re wearing it half up and half down. At The National Wedding Show the consensus was that brides loved having this style and some were wearing it completely down.’

Joseph joins Marie Claire in praising Kate’s wedding look although he suggested brides put their own spin on things telling us: ‘Kate went for a classic style, it was very soft and natural which a lot of people look to achieve, but I think people should go for a little more movement if they opt for a similar look.’

Of course it’s not just wedding hair that Kate Middleton is dictating, it’s our hair in general as Joseph adds: ‘Kate is a classic British beauty and the world is looking at her right now - she has the public in the palm of her hand.’
That she most ceraintly does!
