The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge opted for a no frills flight after skiing trip

It's been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge chose to fly with budget airline easyJet after a romantic skiing trip in the French Alps.

Passengers aboard an easyJet flight from Geneva to Manchester could hardly believe their eyes when they took their seats next to Prince William and Kate Middleton last Sunday.

The future King and Queen of England opted to fly with the budget airline following a week-long skiing trip in the French Alps.

William, 29, and Kate, 30, boarded the aircraft with their protection officers before the rest of the passengers, some of whom shared their surprise on Twitter.

One flyer, Chris Nash, posted on the site: 'Still can’t believe how close I was to Will and Kate.'

After touching down in the UK, the duo left the airport in William's Range Rover and headed home to their cottage in North Wales.
