The Duke and Duchess will embark on a 14,000 mile tour through North America and Canada
Details of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first official tour have been released, revealing that the royal couple will be visiting at least nine cities during the 11-day trip.
For their first official overseas trip as a married couple, Kate and William will embark on a 14,000 mile journey across North America and Canada, from 30 June to 10 July.
St James’s Palace has released the first details of the itinerary, which covers nine days in Canada followed by three in Los Angeles, and includes visits to nine cities, including Gatineau, Quebec City, Montreal and Charlottetown.
One of the highlights is anticipated to be the couple’s appearance at Canada Day celebrations in the capital, Ottawa, on 1 July, while they’ll also attend the Calgary Stampede rodeo in Alberta.
The trip will mark the Duchess’s first ever visit to both Canada and America, and William’s first in an official capacity,
