Yesterday it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge had become patron of the Foundling Museum, on the same day she and the Queen made their first ever Royal engagement together alone.
They visited King’s College to officially open Bush House, the latest education and learning facilities on the Strand Campus, and got a car there.
It was a bit of a chilly day, so Her Majesty covered up her knees on the back seat with a blanket, which she shared with Kate, and it’s quite possibly one of the most heart-warming things we’ve ever scene, because doesn’t it just remind you of cosying up on the sofa with your granny?
The pair seemed to have a nice old chat and were photographed smiling at each other, before getting out and greeting everyone at the college.
They previously visited Leicester together in 2012, however they were accompanied by Prince Philip, who has since retired from official duties.
More of this please.
