Prince Harry is coming to the big screen, in a movie that will chart his life from red-headed baby to royal warrior
According to reports by the Daily Mail’s showbiz reporter, Baz Bamigboye, a film about Prince Harry’s life is in the offing, and may hit cinema screens within a couple of years.
The film will be called The Spare and will be shot on location in the UK and the Middle East in 2010.
The screenplay by writer Jeremy Brock is still in development, meaning casting won’t begin until well into the New Year.
Director Peter Kosminsky told the Daily Mail he was drawn to the film about the 25-year-old Prince because he feels ‘a sense of compassion for the guy’.
Baz Bamigboye suggests a strong of actors who might be suitable for the part of Harry, including Aaron Johnson, who’ll be seen soon in Nowhere Boy and Kick-Ass; Harry Treadaway, star of new film Pelican Blood; his twin Luke, to be seen next year in Clash Of The Titans; and Rupert Friend, who starred opposite Emily Blunt in the Young Victoria.
