Alert: You've got three days to shop this cool LA brand IRL

Cult LA brand STAUD needs no introduction. It's the brand behind the It bag all the fashion editors were wearing at Fashion Week, has a hardcore Insta following and countless celebrity fans (think Alexa Chung and Emily Ratajkowski).

Founded in downtown Los Angeles in 2015 by Sarah Staudinger and George Augusto, it has created unique and innovative pieces that have literally flown off the digital shelves.

But whilst we could shop it to our heart's content online on Net-A-Porter and the likes, there was not bricks and mortar store... until now.

The brand has launched its first UK pop-up shop, in Selfridges no less. The 250 square foot space offers ready-to-wear and handbags, including its bestselling items such as the Alice Dress, Moreau and Shirley bags - perfect if your dream item sold out online before you could by it.

'This is the first time we’ve ever done a pop-up,' says Sarah Staudinger, co-founder and co-creative director of the brand. 'We are so excited to see our retail concept within a store—and Selfridges at that!'

Now the only catch is that it's closing on the 15th July, so you'll have to be quick if you want to snap something up, but it'll be worth it, as we can't see this it-girl favourite going away anytime soon.

Penny Goldstone

Penny Goldstone is the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire, covering everything from catwalk trends to royal fashion and the latest high street and Instagram must-haves.

Penny grew up in France and studied languages and law at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris before moving to the UK for her MA in multimedia journalism at Bournemouth University. She moved to the UK permanently and has never looked back (though she does go back regularly to stock up on cheese and wine).

Although she's always loved fashion - she used to create scrapbooks of her favourite trends and looks, including Sienna Miller and Kate Moss' boho phase - her first job was at MoneySavingExpert.com, sourcing the best deals for everything from restaurants to designer sales.

However she quit after two years to follow her true passion, fashion journalism, and after many years of internships and freelance stints at magazines including Red, Cosmopolitan, Stylist and Good Housekeeping, landed her dream job as the Digital Fashion Editor at Marie Claire UK.

Her favourite part of the job is discovering new brands and meeting designers, and travelling the world to attend events and fashion shows. Seeing her first Chanel runway IRL at Paris Fashion Week was a true pinch-me moment.
