Kate Moss is the star of Alexander McQueen's Spring Summer 2014 campaign, revealed in first look pictures today.

Almost unrecognisable as the face of the British brand's new season collection, Kate Moss gets a makeover of mega McQueen proportions.

Shot by acclaimed photographer Steven Klein, the 40-year old supermodel is pictured with a bleached-yellow crop and all-over bronze.

Dressed in a striking leather ensemble designed by Sarah Burton, Kate is also accompanied by a miniature doll wearing a look-a-like outfit. Because, well, why not.

The endearing campaign is said to be inspired by the voyeuristic 1960s British thriller, Peeping Tom, with the mini-moss toy playing a prominent role in the campaign's accompanying film – also shot by Klein.

Although the first time Moss has fronted an Alexander McQueen campaign, the style icon was a good friend and muse for the late legendary designer from the mid-1990s. As well as appearing as a hologram on the McQueen catwalk in 2006.

Kate Moss for Alexander McQueen tops up her impressive tally of Spring Summer 2014 campaigns, including ads for Stuart Weitzman and ElevenParis.
